Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Card Manager to work in our Rexburg Administrative Office. This position directs the daily operations of the Card Services department; oversees card team members that assist members with daily operations of their card accounts; manages the overall card ecosystem; and implements card enhancements through special projects. This position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, along with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE.

Job Description

• Hires, reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work of direct reports: conducts performance reviews; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; reviews and approves, denies, or modifies department recommendations from subordinates.
• Executes card enhancement and compliance projects; working with vendors, contracts, and deadlines. Aligns the card department with the credit union's business strategies and industry best practices.
• Ensures card equipment and card plastic are accurate and performing at industry standards. Maintains card portfolio including compliance, vendor relations, and technology updates. Implements and monitors card security and fraud prevention measures.
• Prepares and balances related month-end reports, GLs, and accounts.
• Coordinates efforts with other credit union departments, fostering teamwork and good relations.
• Performs other duties as assigned and performs all duties in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Works at or attends community events as assigned. Strives in all that they do to enhance the member experience at BFCU, including actively engaging in needs-based cross-servicing.

Qualifications

• Two years of card services experience is required.
• (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• Ten-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch; internet skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
