Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a Chief Experience Officer to direct the daily member experience activities and functions of the Credit Union and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. This position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. This position oversee lending, operations, and branch efforts to provide a remarkable, extraordinary, and valuable member experience. The expected pay is $_____ per year, DOE.

Major Job-Related Duties

  • Ensures the Credit Union meets its strategic objectives (Member Centricity & Growth) by aligning daily lending, operation, and branch activities with the vision, values, mission, and objectives. Facilitates the accomplishment of all business plan objectives, helping the directors of lending, operations, and branches to complete assigned goals from the business plan. Effectively communicates with department directors to ensure cross-department unity and efficiency. Champions the Credit Union's strategy and increases employee engagement in improving the member experience through consistent iteration phases.
  • Hires, reviews, trains, and evaluates the work of the Director of Commercial Lending, the Director of Real Estate Lending, the Director of Consumer Lending, the Director of Operations, the Director of Branches, and the Loan Administrator; conducts performance reviews; recommends promotions/transfers and salary adjustments.
  • Directs and prioritizes the allocation of resources to meet Credit Union strategy needs within each department. Participates in the establishment of the annual operating budget and monitors performance to budget throughout the year.
  • Actively participates in the functions of the executive management team and completes assigned projects in a timely and professional manner. Works together with the management team executives to direct the operations of the Credit Union in the absence of the President/CEO.
  • Reviews operational policies, procedures, and processes to obtain optimum alignment, efficiency, and reduced costs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and performs all duties in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Works at or attends community events as assigned. Strives in all that they do to enhance the member experience at BFCU, including actively engaging in needs-based cross-servicing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Eight to ten years of similar or related experience.
  • (1) A business-related bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions. Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position.
