Position and Role

Full-Time Commercial Loan Manager at our Rexburg, Idaho Administration Building. This position works 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per year, DOE. Oversees the development of the Credit Union's business products and member business accounts. Develop new and existing business relationships with members and vendor partners.

Job Description

Originate, process, and close member business loan applications. Reviews member business financial condition and assesses the member's ability-to-repay while building compliant loans.

• Participates in developing business lending and business deposit products at the credit union.
• Monitors existing loan portfolio to maintain a high-quality asset base. Maintains up-to-date member files including current balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow projections, and valuation documentation.
• Assists members with all business loan and deposit related questions and concerns.
• Promote new business products and services. Identify cross-serve opportunities and cross-serve products and services to members.
• Participates in developing marketing and promotional strategies including representing the Credit Union at various functions to develop business relationships.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.

Qualifications and Skills

• Five to ten years of similar or related experience.
• College degree.
• The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.
• Contact with others is usually of a personal nature therefore confidentiality is most important. Must have good communication skills. Must have experience analyzing business financial statements and assess the viability of business. Ability to use industry software.

Physical Requirements

Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
