Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Analyst to work in our Administration Building in Rexburg, Idaho. This position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. The starting pay is $_____ per hour, DOE.

Job Description

This position assesses, plans, and enacts security measures to help protect the credit union from security breaches and attacks on its computer networks and systems. This may involve simulating attacks to identify vulnerabilities, testing new software to help protect the credit union's data, and helping end users adhere to company regulations and processes to ensure the network stays safe.

  • Assists with helpdesk requests as either a tier 2 or tier 3 support tech. Utilizes helpdesk system to resolve user requests and helps support other IT personnel as needed.
  • Assists in developing, implementing, and managing processes and systems to ensure the company network and information remains safe, including developing security standards for all employees to adhere to. Involves researching security trends, latest technology, software, and systems to prevent any issues.
  • Prepare and create regular reports to document any processes, implementations, improvements, security breaches and resolutions, and internal technical documents. Creates quarterly key performance indicators reports.
  • Ensures the credit union complies with NCUA cybersecurity requirements and assists in projects to resolve any non-compliant issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • (1) Have achieved the Security+ certification, or will achieve the certification within six months of hiring, and three years of experience in information technology or (2) two-year college degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.

Physical Requirements

Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine o􀀃ce equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel o􀀄 site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.
