Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Facilities Coordinator for our locations throughout southeast Idaho. This position works approximately 28 hours, Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and Saturdays. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE.

Job Description

• Maintains buildings and other physical assets by performing upkeep and maintenance.
• Communicates with managers regarding needed maintenance. Regularly visits buildings to ensure proper building upkeep.
• Coordinates, assists, and performs special work assignments related to physical facilities. Examples include: spring cleaning, fall leaf removal, basement organizing and clean up, picnic setup and take down, event and meeting setup, etc.
• Maintains inventory of break room supplies and maintenance of break room equipment.
• Works with contractors for repairs, maintenance, and new build needs.
• Develops and adheres to annual facilities budget. Monitors contracts with vendors. Prepares bid specifications.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge and skill in repair and maintenance of equipment, minor plumbing, minor electrical, furniture, fixtures, facilities systems, grounds and structures, and use of tools common to the trade.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Daily lifting up to 70 pounds to load and transport bulk supplies, furniture, fixtures, etc.
• Regular crouching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, etc., to facilitate various repairs and maintenance activities. Includes frequent ladder climbing and occasionally crawling under buildings.

Physical Requirements

Work requires moderate physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise, as well as outdoors in cold, wet or warm conditions.
