Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a Head Teller for our _____ Branch located in our Administration Office in Rexburg, Idaho. This position works 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE.

Job Description

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sells money orders to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Orders money for vault weekly. Counts coin and keeps balances/sales to Federal Reserve.
• Answers questions and assists other tellers as requested.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including answering the telephone, and serves as vault teller.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. Balances vault daily.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years years of similar or related experience.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.

Physical Requirements

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and regularly lifting cash box of up to 10 lbs. and coin bags up to 30 lbs on occasion. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
