We are seeking a full-time IT Network Engineer to work at our Administration Branch in Rexburg, Idaho. This position will work 40 hours, Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE. The IT Network Engineer will have overall responsibility for designing and developing the network, and communication links for the Credit Union and across all branches. Manage the staff and resources dedicated to supporting office automation, PCs and end-user equipment, network and systems security and database administration.

Essential Function & Responsibilities:

• Provides primary support for the company's network, WAN links, and PC/LAN servers which includes planning, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software.
• Act as primary point of contact for the planning and development of network and systems resources to meet the evolving business needs of the company and its members.
• Develops and tests updated network configuration to comply with industry standards for network security and optimization to ensure data is secure at rest and in transit across network infrastructure.
• Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments, upgrades, or new controls need to be implemented to maintain peak efficiency and security of network resources
• Collaborates with Information Security, and Systems Administration staff to support their technical efforts in implementing new controls and features into the Credit Unions PC/LAN, and WAN links.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.

Required Qualifications

• Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
• Previous data processing experience including networks, PCs, data communications, mainframe and PC programming and data organization.
• Technical planning, project management and supervisory experience.
• Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other data processing professionals as well as non-technical users.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work and travel independently and use general office equipment, give speeches, and make presentations.
• This position may require extended periods of standing or sitting and may include long periods of typing and repetitive motion. Must possess the ability to lift and carry items sometimes weighing as much as 50 pounds.
