Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to work in our Administration Building in Rexburg, Idaho. This position will work 40 hours, Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE.

Job Description

• Responsible for the managing, testing, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and virtualization as well as assisting with the management, configuration, and reliable operation of networking equipment and infrastructure across all branches when necessary.
• Provides primary support and troubleshooting for server hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and accessing impact of issues. Planning and development of network and system resources to meet the evolving business needs of the company and its members when necessary.
• Install and upgrade server components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes. Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments, upgrades, or new controls need to be implemented to maintain peak efficiency and security of network resources as needed.
• Creating and documenting processes as well as providing documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgraded IT infrastructure.
• Oversees the maintenance of hardware and software for the company's disaster recovery efforts, both on-site and off-site.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of similar or related experience.
• College degree or relative certifications.
• Previous data processing experience
• Technical planning and project management
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Physical Requirements

Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger). Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

Working Conditions

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.
