Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Account Consultant to work in our ____ Branch. This position works 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, along with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE.
Job Description
- Establish and deepen relationships with members by providing financial direction through an interactive and consultative interview process. Identify needs and goals and match them with the appropriate products and/or service. Engage with members to provide an outstanding service experience.
- Open all types of financial accounts; interview loan applicants and approve loans; conduct routine transactions for members. (Each MAC will have lending limits according to their knowledge, experience, and loan performance history. Loans that fall outside of their approval limits will be approved by an Underwriter.)
- Maintain high level of product knowledge in order to cross-service products or services to existing and potential members.
- Will actively engage in needs-based selling.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education required; prefer Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience required; prefer minimum of one year member service experience with demonstrated success cross-servicing products/services within a financial industry.
- Must have excellent communication skills as work will involve motivating or influencing members.
Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with minimal noise.
