We are seeking a full-time Mortgage Servicer to work at our administrative office in Rexburg, Idaho. This position will work 40 hours, Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks of maintaining Beehive's in-house mortgage loans.

Job Description

• Manage the FHLB partnership by forwarding mortgage payments, reporting monthly servicing numbers, and balancing to their TAR report.
• Answers telephone enquiries from members regarding principle, interest, escrow calculations, release of borrowers, partial releases of property, tax statements, and other details about their existing mortgage.
• Manage the escrow accounts by paying taxes semi-annually and paying hazard and flood insurance on an annual basis for all "escrowed" mortgages.
• Package and bundle all lender partner loans within the required interest rate lock delivery date.
• Prepares and delivers files for routine audit work performed by credit union partners. (NCUA, FHLB, USDA, FHA, Correspondent partners, Adfitech, etc.)
• Issues mortgage payoffs and is responsible for all reconveyance work.
• Tracks Security and Title Policy documents for all in-house mortgages.
• Provide verification of mortgages to other lenders.
• Produces the annual HMDA report with needed updates and corrections.
• Handle mortgage insurance payments each month.
• Answers lender and title company telephone enquiries about subordination work. Processes and handles all subordination requests.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned. Works at or attends community events as assigned. Performs duties in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Strives in all that they do to enhance the member experience at BFCU.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.

Qualifications

• One to three years experience required.
• Must be able to keep strict confidentiality.
• Must be able to offer prompt, clear, and accurate communications with members and coworkers.
• Must be able to complete all documentation with promptness and accuracy.
• High school or equivalent education.
