Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Systems Support Specialist to to assist in managing the company's IT resources, recommend IT hardware and software purchases, provide technical assistance and assist with future upgrades. The position is located in our Rexburg Administration Office. This position will work approximately 25 hours, Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours as needed. The expected pay is $_____ per hour, DOE.

Job Description

• Assists in managing all levels of the desktop: provides troubleshooting and resource management assistance to internal personnel and members in the areas of networks, ATMs, PCs, printers, peripheral hardware products, and PC operating systems; provides informal training and guidelines to memory management, network client installation and configuration, printer setup and configuration, Windows tuning, software installation, PIFs development, backing up servers and PCs.
• Assists with LAN management including user access rights, definition and maintenance of network services, troubleshooting, etc.; assists in developing network standards and conventions, configuring network software, etc.
• Supervise scanning and document management.
• Assists in the development and application of internal standards and controls for PCs, including software and hardware inventories, software library, installation records, user procedures and policies manual, and IT control policies.
• Works with members, providing technical assistance and guidance for needs relating to electronic services. Programs include: WebBranch, E-mail, Quicken, Audio Response, and others as needed.
• Backup for management and services of ATMs.
• Assist in administering the company's e-mail systems.
• Will actively engage in needs-based selling.

Qualifications

• Two to five years years of similar or related experience.
• A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program is required.
• Must have excellent communication skills as work will involve motivating or influencing employees.
• Must have extensive knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and printers; and general knowledge of PC networks and network operating systems.
